Exciting adventure in seaplane, helycopter !
Our 200-km2 territory is located within the last bastions of still virgin boreal forest in Quebec. The Odyssée Boréale area is located approximately 80-km west of the Daniel-Johnson dam at Manic V. For private plane pilots wishing to come visit us, here are our facilities’ geographic coordinates: 50° 33, 954' north latitude and 69° 45, 911' west longitude.
Our outfitter cannot be accessed by land; you will have to access our facilities through the air.
Departure towards our facilities takes place at Lac Sébastien’s seaplane base in Saint-David-de-Falardeau, Saguenay.
Odyssée Boréale is resorting to professional air carriers that employ qualified, experienced, and courteous pilots.
For people wanting to reduce their traveling time, we offer charter flights in an amphibian or a helicopter from a traditional airport. Depending on the option, the outfitter may take care of the round trip transportation from an airport in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean, Quebec, or Montreal.
Any air transportation involves limitations as regards weight and volume allowed inside the aircraft. The maximum weight for luggage is 28 kg (62 lb) per individual. Any excess weight may lead to additional fees.
At Odyssée Boréale, our clients’ safety is essential. You are always safe, even at our remote location.
Odyssée Boréale is equipped with means of communication and intervention necessary to ensure a high level of security to our clients.

Our staff has a first-aid training.

In case of a major emergency, our partnership with Air Médic, a company operating ambulance helicopters, ensures quick evacuation.
